AZZ CAMP FOR FEMALE INSTRUMENTALIST

About Us…

The Jazz Camp for Female Instrumentalists (JCFI) has been a pioneering non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the talents of female jazz musicians for the past 15 years. Our mission has always been to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where women can develop their musical skills, gain confidence, and connect with a supportive community of like-minded individuals.

Building on our longstanding commitment to empowering women in the arts, we are thrilled to announce our latest initiative, the Mosadi-Sadi Arts and Training Program. This project is a nationwide tour across South Africa, featuring an all-female panel that is dedicated to spreading the message of women empowerment among creatives. This project aims to inspire, educate, and uplift women in the creative industries, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive in their artistic endeavors.

Under the JCFI umbrella, the JCFI Music Ensemble stands out as a premier group of talented female musicians. This ensemble showcases the remarkable skill and artistry of its members, performing a diverse repertoire that spans classic jazz standards to contemporary compositions. The Music Jazz Ensemble not only exemplifies musical excellence but also serves as a powerful symbol of the transformative impact of female representation in jazz.
